Box Score The Colorado College women's tennis team captured one doubles match and three singles matches Saturday, but fell to Division II Texas-Permian Basin, 4-3, at City Park in Pueblo.
 
Despite a 7-5 victory at the No. 3 doubles match by sophomores Christina Heffron and Romi Hodor, the Tigers trailed 1-0 after UTPB won at the top two spots.
 
Heffron led things off in singles play with an impressive, 7-5, 7-6(5), victory over Jenny Nguyen at the No. 1 position, while senior Grace Dereemer rallied to defeat Olga Guillamon, 5-7, 6-2, 1-0(7) at the No. 5 spot. Fellow senior Olivia Dicks won the No. 6 match when her opponent, Lea Mjerton, retired after the first set.
 
The Tigers wrap up their fall season at the ITA Division III West Regionals, Sept. 30-Oct. 2, in Claremont, Calif.
