The Colorado College men's diving team took on DII foe the University of Texas Permian Basin on Friday, Dec. 1. The Tigers competed in the one-meter event on Friday and will finish the weekend with the three-meter on Saturday.
Freshman
Wyatt Wellehan placed third overall with a score of 459.83 points.
Aidan Richter followed up in fourth with 430.64 points. It is the first time this season the Tigers have competed in an 11-dive event.
Brian D'Alessandro (331.96 points) and
Nico Rimer (326.54) placed sixth and seventh.
"UTPB was great competition for us," diving coach
Ellen Walker said. "This is our first 11 dive meet of the season, and we're completing several dives for the first time. We dove well today and I'm looking forward to seeing them continue to improve as we compete tomorrow on the second board."
The Tigers will compete in the three-meter diving event on Saturday at 1 p.m. CT.
