Box Score The Colorado College women's tennis team improved its record to 1-1 this springs with a 9-0 victory over SCAC-foe University of St. Thomas Sunday morning at the Country Club of Colorado in Colorado Springs.
 
The Tigers cruised to an early 3-0 lead by sweeping the three doubles matches, winning the Nos. 1 and 2 matches, 8-5, and the No. 3 match by an 8-3 score.
 
In singles play, CC cruised to five of the six victories in straight sets, including a 6-3, 6-4 victory by Christina Heffron over Anamaria Gonzalez at the No. 1 spot. CC"s Magdelene Gonzales posted a 6-2, 4-6, 1-0(2) win at No. 4 over Karissa Guzman.  
 
The Tigers return to action on Saturday, March 25, against the University of Puget Sound in Tacoma, Wash., beginning at 11 am (MT).
