Box Score The Colorado College women's tennis team fell to Division II Metro State, 7-0, Sunday in Denver, Colo.
 
The Roadrunners jumped out to an early 3-0 lead by sweeping the three doubles matches. Isabel Heras and Kinsey Fields defeated Maddy Meister and Magdalene Gonzales, 6-2, at the No. 1 position, Marie Cool and Hanna Haber downed Lindsay Popeo and Gigi Jensen, 6-3, at the No. 2 spot, while Lilly Steinemeier and Kayla Myburgh beat Elizabeth Girian and Malia Rivera, 6-4, at No. 3.
 
In singles play, Metro State continued the momentum by winning all six matches in straight sets. Heras collected a 7-5, 6-3, victory over Popeo at No. 1, while Meister battled Kambra Roles at No. 6 before falling, 6-2, 7-6(6).
 
The Tigers return to action on Saturday, April 8, against Division II Colorado Mesa in Grand Junction, beginning at 10 a.m.
