The Colorado College men's swimming and diving team stands in second place after the second day of the 2024 CC Classic. The Tigers boast 524.5 points and trail UT-Permain Basin heading into Sunday.
CC claimed three individual victories from Friday through Saturday, including two in the pool and one on the boards.
Freshman Wyatt Wellehan impressed on the one-meter board on Saturday afternoon, leading the pack with 491.35 points after he placed second on the three-meter board to kick off the weekend on Friday.
In the pool, Jack Hussin claimed first-place honors with a time of 1:47.58, out-touching second place by only .21 seconds.
Hussin also finished fourth in the 50-yard freestyle with a time of 21.89. Teammate Eric Uerling finished with a team-high second place in the same event after touching in 21.60, just .07 seconds from first place.
Caleb Peimann was the other Tiger to finish first, outpacing the field in the 100-yard back with a time of 54.60.
Edmund Davis took second in the 1,650-yard free, touching in 16:54.45 on Friday evening.
