Four Tigers Earn CSCAA Scholar All-America Honors

The College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) named four Colorado College student-athletes to its Men's Scholar All-American Team for the 2023-24 season.

Rising seniors Collin Ralston, Aidan Richter and Jack Hussin, and rising sophomore Wyatt Wellehan were all second-team selections.

Ralston and Richter were each named for the third time, Hussin for the second time, and Wellehan earned his first award.

Colorado College tied Trinity University for the most student-athletes named to the team among SCAC schools.

"It is great to individually recognize the commitment of these swimmers and divers who competed at the highest level of sport while achieving excellence in the classroom this year, head coach Jen Buffin said. "As a program our goal is to support our student athletes in all their pursuits as a student athlete at Colorado College."

To be named to the First-Team Scholar All-America, student-athletes must achieve a minimum GPA of 3.50 and participate in their respective national championship. Second-team selections also earned a GPA of 3.50 or higher and met the "B" time standard for the national championship or participated in a diving zone qualification meet.

Founded in 1922, the CSCAA is the nation's oldest professional organization of college coaches. Its mission is to serve and provide leadership for the advancement of the sport of swimming and diving at the collegiate level.
