Box Score The Colorado College women's tennis team rallied after losing the doubles point to win four singles matches and defeat Newman University, 4-3, Friday afternoon in Pueblo, Colo.
 
Newman jumped out to an early 1-0 lead by winning two of the three doubles matches. Sophomore Kala Komanduri and freshman Aspen Young won the No. 1 match, 7-5, over Nicole Bono and Ana Zeikidze.
 
Sophomore Avery Hickman won the No. 2 singles match for the second straight day, defeating Ana Zeikidze, 6-1, 0-6, 1-0(4). Freshmen Ally Lowe and Lucia Moravek followed suit, winning the No. 3 and No. 5 matches, respectively. Junior Abby Wilson then captured the No. 6 match over Linda Nocito, 7-5, 4-6, 1-0(8) and the victory for the Tigers.
 
The Tigers return to action at the ITA Division III West Region Tournament, Sept. 27-29, in Claremont, Calif.
