Tigers Begin 2025-26 Regular Season Against Western Colorado

The Colorado College men's basketball officially tips off the 2025-26 season on Friday, No.7th at 7:30 p.m. against Western Colorado University inside Reid Arena.  
 
CC will look to accumulate its consecutive winning season under sixth-year head coach Jeff Conarroe

The Tigers opened up the season with an exhibition contest against the University of Northern Colorado this last Monday, Nov. 3rd. CC fell 91-57. 
 
Senior Asher Nofziger led the team with 14 points, seven rebounds and two assists. 
 
Senior Russell MacFarlane made his return to the hardwood after missing his junior season due to injury. The Seattle native finished with nine points, six rebounds, one block and one steal. 
 
"I'm pleased with where we are at, but excited to get back to work," Jeff Conarroe said after the game. "This is a fun team to coach and should be an exciting team to watch in Reid Arena."

CC returns three of its top five scorers from last season. Nofziger led the team with 16.7 points and 8.7 rebounds per game. Junior Ty Hendler was fourth on the squad with 9.3 ppg and junior Gavin Carter was fifth with 5.4 ppg. 

Carter led the team with 86 assists and Hendler led the team with a three-point percentage of .395 (minimum of 20 attempts).
 
The Tigers feature five new freshmen this year, including Kyle Kihlberg, Terrion Benson, TJ Satcher, Nick Brashear and Ryan Kranz
 
Five seniors, three junior and one sophomore round out the rest of the roster. 

CC added new assistant coach Cam McKinney, who was most recently the Assistant Director of Basketball Operations at Troy University in the Sun Belt Conference. Last season, the Trojans finished with a 23-11 record and earned a trip to the NCAA Tournament after winning the Sun Belt Conference Tournament.
 
The Trojans also won the Sun Belt regular season title, and McKinney helped coach Tayton Conerway, who was named the conference Player of the Year. 
 
McKinney joined the second-year assistant Derrick Rodgers to fill out Conarroe's staff. 
 
Preseason SCAC Standings
 
CC was picked to finish second in this year's Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Preseason Coaches' Poll. CC, picked to finish behind St. Thomas with 106 points and one first-place vote after it went 14-13 (9-7 SCAC) last season and advanced to the semifinals of the SCAC Tournament.
