The Colorado College men's basketball team hosts Schreiner and No. 24 Trinity on Friday and Sunday to wrap up the regular season. The Tigers (13-10) look to gain valuable momentum heading into the SCAC Tournament next weekend.
CC will celebrate Senior Day on Sunday against Trinity by honoring each senior before tip-off.
Last Time Out
CC clinched a spot in the SCAC Tournament with wins over Centenary and the University of the Ozarks last weekend. The Tigers downed the Gents on Friday 68-47. Senior
Asher Nofziger tallied another double-double with 11 points and 11 rebounds while adding three assists and two blocks. Sophomore
Ty Hendler was the other Tiger in double-digits, racking up 10 points, six boards, four assists and two steals.
On Sunday, CC defeated the Eagles 69-55, placed second in the Blue Division, and clinched a spot in the conference tournament, which only the top three teams from each division advanced to.

Gavin Carter and senior
Devin Philio combined for 31 points, 11 rebounds and five assists. Philio was a rebound shy of a double-double and blocked a career-high four shots, while Carter shot 6-7 (85.7 percent) from the floor, including 2-2 from long range.
Scouting The Opposition
The Tigers play Schreiner and Trinity only once this season. The Mountaineers, with an 18-5 (11-3 SCAC) record, are second in the Gold Division behind the Tigers.
Kamden Ross leads Schreiner and the SCAC in scoring 23.2 points per game. Ross is also the team leader in rebounds per game and field goal percentage.
Trinity has the best record in the SCAC, with a 13-1 conference record. The Tigers are ranked 24th in the latest D3hoops.com national poll. Christian Green leads the team with 17.5 points per game and 7.9 rebounds.
Last season, CC defeated then No. 10 Trinity to advance to the Championship game of the SCAC Tournament.
By The Numbers
CC ranks in the top five of numerous statistical categories in the SCAC. It is second in assist-to-turnover ratio and first in defensive rebounds per game.
Ty Hendler leads the conference with an assist-to-turnover ratio of 1.12.
