Tigers Complete Day One at Diving Regionals

Four Colorado College divers competed at the NCAA Division III Region 2 Championships Friday in Grinnell, Iowa.
 
Sophomore Wyatt Wellehan posted a eighth-place finish in the men's 3-meter competition with 475.80 points. Meanwhile, senior Aidan Richter placed 14th with a score of 404.90, with 21 divers competing.

On the women's side, sophomore Keller Pooley placed 16th in the women's 1-meter event with 348.75 points, while senior Emma Krasemann finished 18th with 344.45 points.

"We always love competing at NCAA Regionals, it is a privilege to be here and a valuable experience going against such great competition," diving coach Ellen Walker said. "As always, the team did a great job at supporting each other and focusing on making each dive better than the last. We are looking forward to finishing strong on the final day tomorrow."
 
The meet concludes on Saturday, March 1, at 11 a.m. (MT) with the men's 1-meter and women's 3-meter events.
