The Colorado College tennis teams open the spring season on Saturday, Feb. 8, against Seward County Community College at the Garden of the Gods Club in Colorado Springs. The women will start things off at 2 p.m., followed by the men's match at 5 p.m.

Fall Recaps
Both teams played a pair of dual matches in the fall along with two tournaments.

The women defeated Newman University, 4-3, and fell to Lubbock Christian, 6-1, in September.
Avery Hickman won both singles matches at the No. 2 position, while
Ally Lowe (No. 3),
Lucia Moravek (No. 5) and
Abby Wilson (No. 6) each went 1-1.

A week before the dual matches,
Kala Komanduri won the 'A' singles bracket at the CC Invitational.

Komanduri defeated Victoria Ricaurte-Cabas of Metro State, 7-6(3), 7-6(5), in the final.

Hickman won the 'A' consolation bracket, while Wilson captured the 'C' consolation draw. by defeating Mariangel Nunez of CSU-Pueblo, 6-4, 6-0, in the final. Wilson and

On the men's side, the Tigers fell twice in dual matches to Newman, 4-3, and Lubbock Christian, 6-1.

Dominik Kaminski and
Justin Boder won the 'A' doubles title.
