th-ranked Amherst College, 5-2, Tuesday morning in Redlands, Calif.

The Tigers trailed 1-0 after Amherst won all three doubles matches. The No. 2 team of
Kala Komanduri and
Amelia Karr, along with the No. 3 duo of
Ally Lowe and
Avery Hickman, each lost 6-4, while
Lucia Moravek and
Aspen Young fell 6-1.

Young continued her dominance in singles play, improving to 7-0 this spring with a 6-1, 7-5 victory over Greta Stechschulte at the No. 5 position.

Lindsay Popeo followed suit and defeated Maddie Swire, 6-4, 5-7, 1-0(7) at the No. 6 spot.

The Mammoths won the other four singles matches in straight sets.

The Tigers return to action on Thursday, March 20, against Cal Lutheran in Thousand Oaks, Calif., beginning at 5 p.m. (PT).
