Rabbit Barnes and
Will Shuflit each set a school record this weekend as the Colorado College men's track and field team competed in Pueblo, Colo., and St. Louis, Mo.

Barnes won the 1500-meter race at the Chuck Haering Invitational in Pueblo on Friday, clocking a school-record time of 3:49.04, surpassing the previous mark of 3:49.87, set by Josh Fry in 2022.

Shuflit, meanwhile, finished fourth and set a school record of 29:39.76 in the 10K at the WashU Distance Classic on Thursday night. The previous record of 29:46.90 was set by All-American
James Settles last season.

In addition, the foursome of
Chase Marks,
Holden Perry,
Josh Williams and
Oliver Smeal broke the school record in the 4x100 relay in Pueblo for the second time in as many weeks. They finished second in the race on Friday with a time of 41.29, breaking their record of 41.50 from last Saturday.

Williams posted a pair of individual top 5 results, placing third in the 200 with a time of 21.48 seconds and fourth in the 400 in a time of 48.73. Smeal finished eighth in each race and fifth in the javelin, followed by
George Peltier in seventh and
Easton Capser in ninth.

Vincent Mangat produced a fifth-place finish in the 5K with a time of 15:35.95, followed by
Axel Klomparens in sixth (15:41.27) and
Brady Koch in ninth (15:55.97). Perry placed seventh in the 100 in 10.9 seconds, while Barnes was ninth in the 800 in 1:54.11.

Owen Shi finished ninth in the discus (116'8.25") and 10
th in the shot put (42'10.5").

The Tigers return to action at the Spank Blasing Invitational in Pueblo on Saturday, April 5.
