Colorado College women's lacrosse senior
Peyton Murphy was named the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Offensive Player of the Week, announced on March 4.
Murphy scored eight career points in the season opener against Claremont-Mudd-Scripps Colleges (Calif.) on March 2. She led No. 17-ranked Colorado College to a 1-0 start behind her five goals (career-high), three assists and five shots.
The Austin, Texas native had a perfect 1.000 shot percentage and ended the game with a ground ball and two caused turnovers. Murphy helped lead the Tigers to their highest national ranking since 2019, debuting at No. 17 in the IWLCA polls this week.
