Colorado College women's lacrosse senior
Peyton Murphy was announced as the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Offensive Player of the Week on Tuesday.
Murphy led the Tigers to a 3-0 weekend against Chapman University (Calif.), Hamline University (Minn.) and College of Saint Benedict (Minn.). She racked up 17 points, eight goals and nine assists. Murphy had a hat trick against Chapman, a career-high five assists against Hamline and followed it up with her second hat trick of the weekend against CSB. She is second on the team with 25 goals and tied for first with 43 points.
It's Murphy's second WIAC POTW award this season. CC travels to Georgetown, Texas, for three games at Southwestern University, starting with a WIAC neutral site matchup against UW-Stevens Point on Friday.
