The Colorado College tennis teams wrap up their regular seasons this weekend with matches against SCAC foes in Texas. On Friday, April 18, both teams will battle Concordia University in Georgetown at 10 a.m., then the men will play No. 29 Trinity in San Antonio on Saturday, April 19, at 3 p.m., and the weekend concludes with both teams against Southwestern University in Georgetown on Sunday, April 20, at 10 a.m. All times are Central Time.

Last Time Out
The Tigers played their final home matches of the season on Saturday, April 12.
The women's tennis team defeated Division II Colorado Mesa, 4-3, in the Tigers' first win over CMU since 2009. Later in the day, CC blanked CSU-Pueblo, 7-0.
In the opener, The Tigers, which lost to Colorado Mesa, 4-3, last weekend in Grand Junction, had to rally on Saturday after the Mavericks took a 1-0 lead after winning the top two doubles matches.
Avery Hickman and
Ally Lowe downed Catalina Ballon and Jane Steur, 6-2, at the No. 3 spot.
In singles, CC took a 2-1 lead with straight set wins by
Aspen Young and Lowe at the Nos. 3 and 2 matches.
Lucia Moravek made it 3-1 with 6-4, 7-5, victory over Ballon, but CMU won at Nos. 4 and 6 to even the team match.
The team match came down to the No. 1 singles spot, and CC's
Kala Komanduri hung in there to defeat Makenna Livingston, 6-3, 6-7(5), 1-0(9) to snap an 18-match losing streak to CMU dating back to April 10, 2009.
In the afternoon match, CC took advantage of CSU-Pueblo having only five players. The Tigers won both doubles matches while losing just three games, then swept the five singles matches in straight sets.
For the men, Senior Aidan Little won the No. 2 singles match on Saturday against Division II Colorado Mesa, but CC fell to the Mavericks, 6-1.
CMU jumped out to a 1-0 lead with wins at the Nos. 1 and 3 doubles matches.
Nate Beerman and
Lenny Lehmitz won the No. 2 match, 6-2, over Henry Scheck and William Leschig.
Little and Leschig played an incredible match at the No. 2 singles spot, with Little pulling out a 7-5, 6-7(6), 1-0(7) victory.
Two other singles matches went the distance, with Scheck beating Lucas Pator, 6-4, 2-6, 1-0(6), at the No. 1 position, and Emil Hultman downing Lehmitz, 4-6, 6-2, 1-0(8), at the No. 5 spot.
The Mavericks won the other three singles match in straight sets.
Komanduri Wins SCAC Weekly Award
Thanks to her match-clinching victory vs. Colorado Mesa,
Kala Komanduri was named the SCAC Women's Tennis Player of the Week for matches played from Monday, April 7 through Sunday, April 13.
Komanduri pulled off one of the biggest victories in her career, defeating Makenna Livingston, 6-3, 6-7(5), 1-0(9), at the No. 1 position to clinch snap CC's 18-match losing streak to CMU and post its first win over the Mavericks since April 10, 2009. Livingston was ranked No. 67 in Division II for singles entering the match.
The Dallas, Texas, product is 6-5 this season in dual matches, including a 2-3 mark at the No. 1 spot.

The women's team is ranked 48
th in the latest ITA Division III national poll, while the men checked in at 70
th.
