Colorado College sophomore
Wyatt Wellehan was named the 2024-25 Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) Male Diver of the Year based on exclusive voting by the league's head coaches and sports information directors. He is the second Tiger to win the award in program history.

Wellehan, from Winnetka, Ill., posted a first and a second-place finish at the 2025 SCAC Swimming and Diving Championships en route to being named Diver of the Meet.

He took top honors in the 3-meter event with a score of 508.90, the 10th-best mark in SCAC Championship history, and second in the 1-meter with a mark of 455.2. A few weeks later, Wellehan finished eighth (475.80) on the 3-meter board and 13
th (399.60) on the 1-meter board at the NCAA Diving III Regionals.

Wellehan, who set three pool records this season and holds the school record in the 3-meter event with a score of 617.48 at the CC Classic, joins Austin Howlett as the only other male diver from Colorado College to earn the conference's Diver of the Year award. Howlett won the award four times, from 2012-15.
