Eight Tigers Earn Academic Honors From ITA

For the fifth time in the last six seasons the Colorado College women's tennis teams was honored by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association as one of the All-Academic Teams for the 2024-25 season. In addition to the team recognition, eight student-athletes were named ITA Scholar Athletes.

The ITA All-Academic Team award is open to any member program that has a cumulative team grade-point average of 3.20 or above (on a 4.00 scale). All varsity letter winners were factored into the cumulative team GPA of 3.65 for the 2024-25 academic year.

Within the sport of tennis, student-athletes continue to exceed expectations in the classroom and on the court. In 2025, 165 women's tennis programs were awarded the All-Academic Team distinction, while 1,269 Division III women's student-athletes were named an ITA Scholar-Athlete, having a minimum 3.5 GPA for the academic year.

Rising seniors Lindsay Popeo and Abby Wilson, rising juniors Avery Hickman, Kala Komanduri and Marina Seidl, and rising sophomores Ally Lowe, Lucia Moravek and Meredith Waters all made the Scholar-Athlete list.
