Tigers Host Kenyon College and No. 16 St. John Fisher

The Colorado College women's lacrosse team continues its opening homestand this week with games against Kenyon College and No. 16 St. John Fisher at Washburn Field. The Tigers host Kenyon on Thursday, March 5 at 4 p.m. before facing St. John Fisher on Saturday at 10 a.m.

CC enters the week with a 1–0 record.

Last Time Out
Colorado College opened the 2026 season with a 19–3 victory over Johnson & Wales at Washburn Field in the coaching debut of Ashley Johnson. The Tigers scored nine goals in the first quarter and carried a 13–2 lead into halftime.

Sophomore Charlotte Iler led all players with six goals and added an assist. Sophomore Sofia Mancino recorded three goals, while freshman Elsa Greene and junior Grace Bean each scored twice.
Several Tigers recorded their first collegiate goals, including freshmen Maddie Jenks, Riley Sterling, Paige Gerlach and Beatrice Nace. Jenks scored two goals in the win. 

CC outshot Johnson & Wales 36–13 and held a 16–6 advantage in draw controls. Senior Cassidy Schnauffer made four saves in the first 45 minutes, while freshman Natalie Bernstein made three saves in the fourth quarter in her collegiate debut.

At The Helm
Colorado College's offense is led by sophomore Charlotte Iler, who recorded 61 goals and 86 points last season. Junior Tobin Lonergan added 41 goals and 41 assists for 82 points, while junior Peyton Murphy scored 50 goals and totaled 80 points.

Junior Sofia Mancino contributed 54 goals and 69 points, while junior Grace Bean added 30 goals and 40 points.

Junior Melaini Molina led the Tigers with 64 draw controls last season, while junior Olivia Janerico recorded 47 draw controls.

Scouting The Opposition
Kenyon enters Thursday's matchup with a 1–2 record after falling 11–10 to St. John Fisher on a last-second goal.

Through three games, Spencer Kirsch and Lily Mason lead the Owls with eight goals each and nine points. Charlotte Skelly has added five goals and eight points, while Elena Zuvekas has three goals. Ashley Quinn leads Kenyon with two assists, while Bridgette Cassidy has contributed two goals and an assist. Mason leads the team with 13 draw controls, while Cassidy has added nine. As a team, Kenyon has scored 31 goals while allowing 32 through three games.

No. 16 St. John Fisher enters the weekend with a 3–0 record through its first three games. The Cardinals have scored 35 goals while allowing 27.

Dharma Makarovsky leads the team with eight goals and five assists for 13 points. Kaley Griffin has also scored eight goals and added one assist, while Ellie Leisen has recorded four goals and three assists.

Megan McGrath and Chloe Scanlan each have four goals, while Chelsea Mesick has contributed one goal and three assists.

Griffin leads the Cardinals with 15 draw controls, while Maddie Lowney has recorded 16 ground balls and 12 caused turnovers through three games.
