The National Collegiate Hockey Conference (NCHC) revealed its 2026-27 league schedule on Tuesday. Once again, Colorado College will face a very demanding conference slate, including 20 of its 24 games against teams that either finished in the final '25-26 USCHO.com Top 20 poll or received votes.
Head coach
Kris Mayotte and the Tigers open league play the weekend of Oct. 30-31 against Minnesota Duluth at Robson Arena.
Â
Two weekends later, CC travels to Western Michigan, Nov. 13-14, then returns home to face Miami University, Nov. 20-21.
Â
The Tigers close out the calendar year with a series at Arizona State on Dec. 4-5, and at home against NCHC-newcomer University of St. Thomas on Dec. 11-12.
Â
Beginning Jan. 8, 2027, Colorado College plays 14 consecutive league games, starting with a series at Minnesota Duluth, Jan. 8-9. The Gold Pan series begins with a single game at defending national champion Denver on Jan. 16, followed by home games against St. Cloud State, Jan. 22-23, and another single game at home against Denver on Jan. 30.
Â
CC will travel to North Dakota (Feb. 5-6), host Western Michigan (Feb. 12-13), and head to Omaha (Feb. 19-20) before closing out the regular season with a home-and-home series vs. Denver, with the teams facing off at Robson Arena on Feb. 26 and Magness Arena on Feb. 27.

The NCHC playoff format will once again take place over three weeks entirely on campus sites. All 10 teams will make the NCHC Tournament, with best-of-three series set for March 5-7, 2027, at the five highest seeds. After reseeding the five winners, No. 4 will face No. 5 in a quarterfinal game at the site of the No. 1 seed on March 12, with the winner facing the No. 1 seed, and No. 3 playing at No. 2 in the semifinals on March 13. The NCHC championship game will then be held on either Friday, March 19, or Saturday, March 20, at the highest remaining seed.Â
