Colorado College clinched the top seed for the 2012 Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Tournament with a 25-4 victory at Rhodes College on Friday afternoon.
The Tigers dominated at both ends of the field, setting a season high for goals while holding an opponent to five points or fewer for the fifth game in a row and the seventh time this season.
Freshman attackman
Dylan Davie struck for a season-high four goals in a little more than 21 minutes to pace CC's balanced attack, which tied its season high with 14 players finding the net at least once.
Davie notched what proved to be the first game-winning tally of his career 7:56 into the game, one of his three goals in the first quarter.

Jake Smith each scored during the first 11 seconds and the Tigers led 7-0 after a15 minutes.
Colorado College built a 15-0 advantage before midfielder John Sanford put the Lynx on the board with 1:03 remaining in the first half. Sanford finished with three goals to pace Rhodes.
Smith finished with three goals and two assists, while junior midfielder
Charles Curtis added a pair scores and set up two others.
Senior long-stick midfielder
Zach Pierce recorded five ground ball and five caused turnovers to pace the defensive effort.
Sophomore goaltender
Zach Steedman stopped four shots for CC, which finished with a 61-13 advantage in total shots.
The Tigers, who improved to 9-2 overall and 8-0 in conference play, complete their conference schedule on Sunday at Millsaps College.
The 2012 SCAC Championship begins Friday, April 27, at Birmingham-Southern College.
