Box Score Colorado College set a program record for goals in a single game and completed its Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference regular season schedule with an undefeated record for the fourth year in a row with Friday's 31-2 victory at Centenary College.
Junior midfielder
Michael Idell posted career highs with four goals and five points, while senior defender
Nate Pearson surpassed his career total with four goals. They were among the 15 CC players who found the net at least one time. Seventeen Tigers recorded one or more points.
Freshman midfielder
Ian Pelto recorded three goals and an assist, while first-year midfielder
Lee Junkin also registered three markers.
Senior attacker
Steve Rijo finished with a season-high four assists.
Colorado College launched 74 shots, the third time this season it finished with at least that many in a game, while allowing only 10.
Freshman goaltender
Chris Maves made four saves while earning the victory in his first collegiate start.
It marks the eighth time this season and the fifth contest in a row that CC has held an opponent to fewer than five goals.
The Tigers, 11-4 overall, improved to 5-0 this season and 25-0 all-time in regular-season conference games.
Colorado College plays host to Southwestern University next Saturday in the SCAC Championship game at 1:30 p.m.
