Box Score Junior attackman Robert Prior struck for a career-high four goals to lead Colorado College to a 24-5 victory over Colorado State University-Pueblo in the Tigers' home opener on Friday afternoon at Washburn Field.

Prior notched what proved to be the game winner with 1:18 remaining in the first quarter off of a feed from senior midfielder Henri Halle.

Halle recorded three points with two goals and an assist. Sophomore midfielder Brad Hale led the team with five points on two goals and a game-high three assists.    
 
Junior attackman Evan Meister, sophomore attackmen Jack McCormick and Will Baird, and freshman midfielder Hunter Henninger registered three points apiece for the Tigers, who improved to 2-1.
 
Junior Chase Murphy made a pair of saves during the first 15 minutes to earn the victory in goal for the Tigers. Senior Jack Roos, who played 30 minutes, and freshman Brice Tucker also recorded one and three saves, respectively.
 
The Thunderwolves were led by Hunter Thompson and Cody Bolen with three points each. Chas Welch added a pair of goals.
 
Starting goaltender Nick Richards made eight saves for CSU-Pueblo.
 
Colorado College dominated at both ends of the field, posting a 54-13 advantage in total shots and a 34-21 edge ground balls. They Tigers also forced 27 turnovers.
 
CC travels to Grand Junction to face Colorado Mesa University on Saturday, Feb. 28, at 1 p.m.
