Box Score Senior midfielders Henri Halle, Dylan Davie and Taylor Paul combined for seven goals and four assists to lead Colorado College to a 10-6 victory over Whittier College on Friday night at Washburn Field.
 
Halle found the net four times, Davie added two tallies and a pair of assists, while Paul scored once and set up two other markers.
 
The Tigers, who improved to 11-3, swept the season series with the Poets and now have won seven in a row against their West Region rivals.
 
Halle's first tally with 9.2 seconds remaining in the first quarter put CC ahead to stay.
 
Sophomore attackman Austin Davie gave Colorado College a 3-1 lead with a man-up goal 3:24 into the second quarter. It also was the first of three markers which involved the Davie brothers.
 
After the Poets answered with a tally by junior midfielder Aaron Self, sophomore attacker Jack McCormick ignited a 6-1 run that gave the Tigers a 9-3 advantage with a little more than 12 minutes remaining in the game.
 
Dylan Davie scored with four seconds remaining in the third quarter after taking a pass from his brother, and the duo clicked again 2:54 into the final frame to close out the deciding sequence.
 
Junior defender Tim Jenkins had four ground balls and three caused turnovers to lead the CC defense, which did not allow a goal in five man-down situations.
 
Junior goaltender Chase Murphy stopped eight shots for the Tigers.
 
CC finished with a 39-25 advantage in total shots and a 26-24 edge in ground balls.
 
Freshman goaltender Alex Cramer made nine saves for the Poets.
 
Whittier slipped to 5-6 and will play Southwestern University on Sunday.
 
Colorado College plays host to Southwestern on Saturday at noon.
