Box Score Coby Petau,
Robbie Stern and
Tyler Borko factored in four goals apiece to lead Colorado College to a 14-7 victory over Babson College on Friday at The Proving Grounds.
Petau continued his torrid scoring pace with four goals, giving the sophomore attackman 20 in his last four games.
Stern finished with three goals and an assist, while Borko struck twice and set up two other markers for the Tigers.
The CC defense held its opponent to fewer than 10 goals for the fourth game in a row and the fifth time this season. The Beavers entered the contest averaging 10.67 goals per game.
"Our defense was stingy, giving up only seven goals to a high-powered offense," head coach
Sean Woods said. "
Parker Woo was dominant at the dot and that gave us a lot of extra possessions. We also received great wing play from
Cooper Lee."
The Tigers improved to 7-1 while Babson slipped to 3-4. Colorado College plays host to MIT on Monday at Washburn Field.
