Coby Petau each struck for a pair of markers in the pivotal surge as the Tigers turned a 4-2 second-quarter deficit into a commanding 10-4 lead 5:12 into the third frame.

Aaron Maslow ignited the comeback when he whistled a shot past Cardinals senior goaltender Matt Niemi from the top right corner of the umbrella.

Tyler Borko tied the game two minutes later off of a feed from behind the cage by freshman attackman
John Sutro, then Haller put Colorado College ahead to stay with a laser from the top of the slot with 9:55 left in the quarter.
Sutro and Haller scored 36 seconds apart to put the Tigers up 7-4, and Petau closed out the first-half scoring with 1:32 remaining before the break.

Sam Mathai split a pair of Otterbein defenders and put a bouncing shot past Niemi 3:27 into the second half, and then Petau notched the last of his three goals with a slam dunk shot inside the left post off of a feed from Maslow. Â
The Cardinals cut their deficit to 12-9 when sophomore attackman Chandler Swartz scored for the third time 3:16 into the fourth quarter, however CC senior attackman
Robbie Stern struck for a man-up goal to spark a 3-1 run to close out the scoring.

Riley Hoffman led the Tiger defense with three caused turnovers and grabbed a pair of ground balls.

Parker Woo won 10 of 18 faceoffs and scooped up a game-best eight ground balls.
Petau and Haller scored three goals apiece for CC, which improved to 3-1 with the victory.
Borko and Sutro scored twice and added a pair of assists to match Petau's total of four points.
Colorado College compiled a 49-32 advantage in total shots and a 28-22 edge in ground balls.
The Tigers also won 16 of 28 faceoffs.
CC's margin of victory would have been greater had it not been for the efforts of Niemi, who finished with 13 saves.
He stopped six shots during the first quarter alone when Otterbein struck for a pair of man-up goals while building a 3-1 lead.
Swartz led the Cardinals with three goals, while junior midfielder Joe Sanfillipo recorded two goals and a game-high three assists.
Colorado College will ride a three-game winning streak into next Friday's game against Wittenberg University.
