Kendall Havill was named an Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association Third-Team All-American for her performance during the 2023 season.
Â
The IWLCA named 57 student-athletes to the 2023 Division III All-American teams – honorees are divided into first, second, and third teams. This group of IWLCA All-Americans represent 29 different institutions.
Â
Havill, an attack from Bainbridge, Wash., anchored the Tiger's offense with 59 goals and 16 assists. She ranked fourth on the team with 24 draw controls and third with 27 ground balls.
Â
"Kendall is a tremendous talent and competitor," coach
Susan Stuart said. "Missing the entirety of last season due to injury and the previous two from Covid-19 makes this accomplishment even more impressive. She used her off time to grow as a player through countless hours watching and analyzing the game and continuing to work tirelessly on her stick skills."
Â
Havill led CC to a 7-10 record, including four games against ranked opponents and a 17-8 win over No. 13 SUNY Cortland.
Â
"I am very proud and happy she can be recognized for her talent and hard work," Stuart said.
