Sherrill Named AVCA Division III National Player of the Week

After leading the Colorado College volleyball team to the SCAC Championship and earning Tournament MVP honors, junior outside hitter Camille Sherrill has been named the AVCA Division III National Player of the Week.

Sherrill led 5th-seeded Colorado College to its first SCAC title and NCAA Tournament appearance since 2021 with a record-breaking performance at the conference championships. She is the sixth Tiger to earn the national award and first since Georgia Mullins in 2021.

In the five-set victory over Schreiner in the championship match, Sherrill set an SCAC Tournament single-match record with 28 kills, including the last two to clinch the match. She also had a career-high 22 digs in the title match.

Sherrill, a first-team all-SCAC selection, collected 21 kills in the quarterfinals vs. Austin and 25 in the three-set semifinal victory over top-seeded St. Thomas. She leads the Tigers with 449 kills, tying for seventh place on CC's all-time single-season list.

The Tigers will play No. 24 Salisbury in the fist round of the NCAA Tournament on Thursday, Nov. 20, in Cambridge, Mass., beginning at 11:30 a.m. (ET).
