The Colorado College men's lacrosse team hosts Elmhurst University on Friday for Senior Day. CC (6-3) looks to end its home schedule on a high note before hitting the road for the remainder of the regular season.
Last Time Out
CC downed Ursinus College 18-9 on March 16th for its second straight win. The Tigers have scored 18 or more goals in consecutive games for the first time since April 19, 2024. Sophomore
Matt Hudson led the scoring efforts with four goals off nine shots, and freshmen
Max Vota and
Brooks Power followed suit, each with two goals and an assist.
CC held Ursinus to a 72.2 percent clear percentage while clearing 91.7 percent of its own clears.
The Tigers outscored the Bears 12-3 in the second half after trailing 5-1 at the end of the first.
Dominance At Home
CC is 6-1 on home turf and will look to finish with it's best home record since the 2021 season, where it went 7-1. That same season, the Tigers made it to the third round of the NCAA Tournament before losing to No. 3 RIT. CC finished 13-4 that year.
Clear as Crystal
CC's clearing defense is one of the best in the country. The Tigers hold their opponents to a 67 percent clearing percentage, the third-best in the nation.
Scouting The Opposition
Elmhurst enters the weekend with a perfect 8-0 record. The Bluejays have not lost since falling to Illinois Wesleyan in the CCIW Tournament Final in May of 2024.
Last season, the Tigers barely fell to the Bluejays 14-13 in the season opener for CC.
