Colorado College junior goalkeeper Alex Wolter has been named the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Men's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week for games played from Tuesday, September 2nd, through Sunday, September 7th.
 
Wolter helped lead the Tigers to an unbeaten weekend that featured two shutouts. Wolter shut out both Cal Lutheran and Mary Hardin-Baylor and finished with six saves. CC downed CLU 2-0 and tied with UMHB 0-0. Wolter has three shutouts already this year, which leads the SCAC and his 11 total saves are currently tied for third in the league.

It's the second conference POTW award of Wolter's career and the second this season for a CC player.
