Sam Allen posted a school record in the 100 backstroke and a pool record in the 200 backstroke for the Colorado College men's swimming and diving team Saturday on day two of the CC Classic.

Allen recorded a time of 50.60 seconds in the 100 backstroke, leading off the winning 400 medley relay team and surpassing the previous record of 50.72 seconds, set by
Caleb Peimann in 2024.
Andrew Colgan,
Liam McCarthy and
Dax Sherwood rounded out the relay team that set a pool record of 3:23.85.

A couple of races later, Allen set a pool record time of 1:52.18 in the 200 backstroke to win the race, then captured the 100 butterfly in 51.06.
Logan Loveday followed Allen in second place in the 200 backstroke, while McCarthy did the same in the 100 fly.

Colgan won the 200 breaststroke, followed by
Kole Petersen, who won the 200 IM.
Mark Lofye was first in the 500 freestyle, while MCCarthy, Colgan,
Stephen Kim and Sherwood captured the 200 freestyle relay.

In diving,
Nico Rimer won the 3-meter event with 364.3 points.
