The Colorado College men's lacrosse team opens a three-game stretch on Tuesday when it hosts John Carroll at 5:15 p.m. at Washburn Field. CC will also host Wentworth later in the week and the two visiting teams will meet in a neutral-site contest.
The Tigers enter the week with a 2–1 overall record and have outscored opponents 48–32 through three games this season.
Last Time Out
CC earned its first home victory of the season with a 21–10 win over Adams State. The Tigers scored eight goals in the opening quarter and carried a 14–2 lead into halftime.
CC outshot the Grizzlies 55–36 and won 25 of 33 faceoffs. The Tigers collected 45 ground balls and forced 20 turnovers in the victory.
Junior Aidan Niklaus leads the team with 10 goals and 14 points through three games. Junior Nick Johnson has recorded five goals and four assists (nine points), while junior Gavin Pope also has nine points (five goals, four assists). Senior Robert Spence earned the win in goal.

Through three games, CC is averaging 16.0 goals per contest while allowing 10.67 goals per game. The Tigers are shooting 32.2 percent and have placed 65.8 percent of their shots on goal.
CC has won 58 of 89 faceoffs this season, a 65.2 percent rate. Freshman Bryce Ferguson has won 31 of 47 draws, while senior Trevor Mackles has won seven of nine.

Scouting The Opposition
John Carroll enters Tuesday's matchup at 0–1 following a 15–10 loss at Baldwin Wallace in its season opener.
In that contest, Carter DiGiovanni scored five goals to lead the Blue Streaks. Michael Laubacher added two goals, while Luke Sweeney and Evan McLaughlin each recorded one.
Kyle Patterson made 12 saves in goal in the opener.
