LAST TIME OUT
Colorado College extended its winning streak to five with wins at Elmhurst University, 18-10, on April 16, and Adrian College, 18-5, on March 29.

CC rallied from an early deficit and used an 8-1 advantage in the third quarter to defeat Elmhurst in Elmhurst, Ill.
Matt Hudson led the way with four goals, while
Liam Goodwin and
Aidan Niklaus each had three.

The Tigers trailed 5-1 at the end of the first quarter, but rallied with goals by Hudson,
Luke Smith and
Wyatt Furda in the second quarter to cut the Elmhurst lead to 5-4 at halftime. Â

Colorado College dominated the third quarter, scoring eight of the nine goals in the frame. Hudson initiated the scoring just seconds into the quarter with a man-up goal, then
Gavin Pope gave CC the lead with a goal at 12:47, and they never relinquished it.

Two days later, Pope collected a career-high four goals and
Sam Rich earned the first win of his career as the Tigers downed Adrian College.
Â
Pope added an assist for a game-high five points, while Hudson (3g,1a) and
Matthew Collina (2g,2a) each chipped in with four points.
Â
Pope scored midway through the first period to give CC a 4-0 lead, then collected three consecutive goals through the middle of the second period to make it 9-1, en route to a 13-2 halftime advantage.

Rich, meanwhile, made seven saves in just over 40 minutes of action before giving way to
Jackson Lesher.

AT THE HELM
Colorado College, 11-2 this season, is averaging 16.8 goals per game while allowing just 8.7 per contest.

Hudson leads the Tigers with 57 points on 43 goals and 14 assists, while Niklaus follows with 53 points on 27 goals and 26 assists. Pope also contributes 37 points on 22 goals and 15 assists.

At the faceoff X, senior
Trevor Mackles has gone 91-for-143 (.636), while freshman
Bryce Ferguson is 77-for-121 (.636) and junior
Trevor Flynn is 26-for-47 (.553), helping CC to a 61.2 percent team faceoff percentage.

Defensively, the Tigers have recorded 136 caused turnovers and 561 ground balls. In goal, Spence has started 12 games, posting an 8.72 goals-against average with 124 saves.
