The Colorado College defense allowed just one goal during the final 36 minutes as the Tigers overcame a pair of two-goal deficits to post a 7-4 victory over Kean University at Sylvan Lake Park in Sanford, Fla.
Moses Taylor scored the first and last goals during a 4-0 run that enabled CC to turn a 3-1 deficit into a 5-3 lead. His tally with 3:06 remaining in the first half pulled to the Tigers to within a goal, and then Charley Perkins tied the game 7:42 into the third quarter.
Chris Quon put Colorado College ahead with 3:11 remaining in the third period, then Taylor scored what proved to be the game-winning goal 2:06 later.
Nick Angrisani's second goal cut the Tigers' lead to 5-4, but it took CC just 21 seconds to answer when Buck McKenna won the draw and scored an unassisted goal. Christman added an insurance goal, his second of the game, to close out the scoring with 4:16 to play.
Hunter Sprole set up a pair of goals, while Toby Cohen and Chris Love each had one assist.
Scott MacArthur stopped the only two shots he faced during the final 21:14 to earn the victory in goal. John Gesumaria made seven saves for the Cougars.
Colorado College improved to 3-4, while Kean slipped to 4-3.
The Tigers return to action on March 29 when they play host to Birmingham-Southern College.
