Colorado College split matches Saturday afternoon as it resumed Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference action in San Antonio, Texas.
The 18th-ranked Tigers dropped their first match of the day to Austin College, 25-17, 25-20, 25-19, but rallied back in their second match to sweep Centenary College, 25-9, 25-12, 25-22.

Emily Phillips led CC's offense against Austin with 15 kills, while senior
Laura Goldsmith and freshman
Courtney Birkett led the Tigers defensively with 14 and 13 digs, respectively.
In CC's victory over Centenary, the Tigers hit a season-high .361 attack percentage with 44 kills on five errors in 108 attempts. CC's strong offensive performance was aided by four players:
Randi Braak,
Kate Squires,
Lauren Hahn and Goldsmith, who hit a .500 attack percentage or higher.
The Tigers held the Ladies to only nine points in the first set with just five kills to take an early one-set lead over Centenary.
Down 4-2 early in the second set, Squires dished an assist to Birkett for a kill to help ignite an 8-1 run to take a 10-5 lead. CC never looked back after that scoring 15 points and only giving up seven more to Centenary.
The Tigers won their final set hitting a match-high .425 attack percentage with 18 kills on only one error in 40 attempts. Down 18-15, CC closed out the match on a 10-4 run after capitalizing on a service error by the Ladies.
Goldsmith and Birkett led the CC offense against Centenary with 12 kills each, while Squires dished out a team-high 24 assists to earn a combined 47 assists on the day.
Phillips led the defense against the Ladies with 12 digs, while Squires registered nine digs and Birkett and Merrifield added eight digs apiece.
Colorado College, which is now 19-8 on the season and 6-2 in conference play, wraps up conference action with a pair of matches against No. 22 Southwestern University and the University of Dallas in San Antonio, Texas on Sunday.
