Kristen Liberty led Colorado College to a 3-0 (25-19, 25-16, 25-22) sweep of Johnson & Wales University on Thursday evening in Denver, Colo.

Liberty led the offense with 12 kills on a .429 hitting percentage. The outside hitter had only three errors in 21 attempts.

The Tigers held the Wildcats to a .096 attack percentage, forcing Johnson & Wales into 19 errors with just 31 kills. This was the 16th time this season that CC has held its opponents to a .100 hitting percentage or less.

The 13th ranked Tigers, who improved to 27-6 on the season, had a solid offensive performance hitting a .263 attack percentage with 46 kills.

Sophomore
Abbe Holtze also aided the offense with 10 kills and had 11 digs for a double-double. Middle hitters
Glenna Yancey and
Kaimara Herron also added eight and seven kills, respectively.

CC held a 12-11 lead midway through the first set when setter
Rebecca Watson and Holtze teamed up for a kill to spark a 5-0 run to lead the team to a 25-19 win in the first set.

The second set was tied at 10-10, but freshman
Sarah Barker set up a kill for Liberty to help ignite a 15-6 run to give the Tigers a two-set lead.

With the final game tied late in the set at 21-21, Holtze and Liberty each hit a kill to give CC a 23-21 advantage. The Tigers went on to win the match with a block by Herron and
McQella Adams and another kill by Liberty. Â

CC was led in the back row by junior
Sophie Merrifield with 19 digs and senior
Julia Lawton with 12 digs. Herron led the defense at the net with four blocks, while Yancey added three.

Watson and Barker orchestrated the offense with 21 and 14 assists, respectively. Â

The Wildcats, who dropped to 18-14 on the season, were led by Kelly McLain with 12 kills and Alaina McClure with 15 digs.

Colorado College plays its final regular season match of the season on Nov. 4 as it hosts Colorado Christian University for senior night at 7 p.m. in Reid Arena.
