Elise Burchard struck for three tallies of her own and set up two others during the second half to help Colorado College cruise to a 14-7 victory at Pacific University on Saturday afternoon.

Scherer, who has scored multiple goals in all five games this season, matched her career high for the second game in a row to give her a total of 19.

The senior attacker rattled the cage three times during a seven-goal run that snapped a 1-1 tie 5:03 into the contest and helped the Tigers build an 8-1 lead with 25:14 remaining.

While CC was cruising in the offensive zone, sophomore
Martha Smith made four of her season-high five saves during the first 30 minutes.

Molly Lions began the Tigers' the surge with her first career tally, while Burchard notched what proved to be the game winner 4:46 into the second half.

April Lanz and Paisley Hiefield trimmed the Boxers' deficit to five when they scored 1:18 apart early in the second half, but the momentum didn't last long.

Mary Taussig was a force at both ends of the field for the Tigers. In addition to a pair of goals, she scooped up five ground balls, had three draw controls and caused a trio of turnovers.
