Box Score Colorado College extended its winning streak to seven games and bolstered its NCAA Tournament resume by rallying for a 17-14 victory at Drew University on Thursday afternoon.

The Tigers, who overcame an early 5-0 deficit, snapped a 13-13 tie with four consecutive goals and their defense surrendered only one during the final 14 minutes as CC improved to 13-3 with head coach Susan Stuart's 200th career win.   

Freshman midfielder Natalie Shishido put Colorado College ahead with 13:17 remaining in the contest and freshman midfielder Sadie Cole struck for what proved to be the game winner 26 seconds later.

Cole tied her season high with five goals and added an assist, while Shishido found the cage three times.

Senior attacker Madeline Scherer scored three times to climb into a tie for third place on CC's single season goal list, matching Mary Everett's total of 55 set during the 1999 campaign. She needs only four more to surpass the school record of 58 set by Cassie Abel in 2004.

Nikki Kleiman recorded three goals and a pair of assists as the Rangers built a five-goal cushion during the opening 14:45.

Cole put the Tigers on the board with 13:43 remaining in the first half and then set up Shishido 17 seconds later. After Brooke Gagliano gave Drew a 6-2 advantage, Colorado College rattled off four goals to knot the score at 6-6.

The teams alternated the next four tallies before Kleiman scored with 43 seconds to give the Rangers a 9-8 lead after 30 minutes.

Colorado College scored five straight goals to open the second half, but Drew countered with four of its own to tie the game with 14:40 remaining.

Freshman goaltender Maddie Pillari steered aside seven shots during the final 46:42 to earn her fourth victory of the season.

Senior defender Sheridan Gribbon and freshman midfielder Mary Taussig grabbed four ground balls apiece to lead the CC defense.

The Tigers finished with a 40-35 edge in total shots, while the Rangers held a 17-16 edge in ground balls.

Kleiman led Drew with six goals and three assists, while Krysta Cento finished with three markers and set up six.

Gianna Minogue made 12 saves during the initial 41:06 in goal. Jadin James stopped four shots during the final 18:54 for the Rangers, who slipped to 9-4.

Colorado College concludes its two-game trip to the East Coast at Cabrini College on Saturday afternoon.
