Box Score Colorado College scored the only four goals during the final 20 minutes, but the Tigers ran out of time and dropped a 9-7 decision at the university of Mary Washington on Saturday afternoon.

CC had two possessions during the final three minutes, but was unable to launch a shot.

Mary Taussig evened the score at 1-1 nearly seven minutes into the contest, the Eagles scored five consecutive goals to build a 6-1 lead with 7:13 left before the break.
Cole's first tally trimmed Colorado College's deficit to four with 5:22 to go, however UMW struck twice during the final 1:31 to build an 8-2 lead after 30 minutes.
CC finished with a 23-21 edge in total shots, including a 19-14 advantage in shots on target.
Senior goaltender Taylor Paige steered aside 12 of those shots to help Mary Washington improve to 7-7.
Sophomores Sabrina Elliott and Kate Smuckler each registered two goals and an assist to lead the Eagles.
The Tigers close out the 2015 season next weekend with three games in the Pacific Northwest.
Colorado College visits Pacific University on Thursday, April 16, and then plays both Southwestern University and Linfield College the next day in McMinnville, Ore. Â Â Â
