Box Score Colorado College received hat tricks from four different players as its attack fired on all cylinders during a 21-8 victory over Wittenberg University on Friday afternoon at Washburn Field.

Coby Petau led the way with a career-high five goals, while senior attacker
Robbie Stern and sophomore midfielders
Tyler Borko and
Aaron Maslow each found the net three times.
Nine players scored at least one goal while 10 had one or more points for CC, which set a season high for goals in a game.

Ben Sudduth each recorded four assists for Colorado College.
Petau scored three times during the first quarter when CC raced to an 8-0 lead.
Sophomore midfielder Michael Coyle put Wittenberg on the board when he scored off a feed from Andrew Ellis while his team was playing with the extra man.
Colorado College answered with five more goals before halftime, including a pair from Stern which gave him three or more for the fourth time in five games. Stern's four assists and seven points were both season highs.
After Petau scored 11 seconds into the second half to extend CC's lead to 14-1, Wittenberg scored four consecutive goals to trim its deficit to nine.
The teams traded goals late in the third period before senior attackman
Sam Sheridan struck with 33 seconds remaining in the frame. Sheridan's tally ignited a five-goal Colorado College spurt that put to rest any thought of a Wittenberg rally.
Borko completed his second hat trick of the season with 7:48 remaining in the game off of a feed from Sudduth.
Sophomore goaltender
Andrew Harwood stopped four shots while posting his third victory of the season. Freshman
PJ Offer made a pair of saves in relief.
CC won 20 of 30 faceoffs, which led to a 56-39 advantage in total shots. Junior midfielder
Parker Woo won 11 of 16 faceoffs, while sophomore
Ben Schwaeber was seven-for-11.
Colorado College also caused 17 of Wittenberg's 31 turnovers. Senior defender
Riley Hoffman led the CC defense with three caused turnovers, while senior midfielder
Hunter Henninger and freshman long-stick middie Billy Hutchinson each had a pair.
Sophomore midfielders Noah Moderwell and Michael Coyle led the Wittenberg offense with two goals and an assist. Junior attackman Jack Strahm also had a pair of markers.
Sophomore long-stick midfielder Anthony LeBarge recorded a game-high five caused turnovers and scored a goal for Wittenberg.
Freshman goaltender Paxton Kreger made eight saves during his 41 minutes between the pipes.
Colorado College plays host to The College of Wooster on Monday at 3 p.m.
