CC, the second seed in the tournament, completed the regular season with a 28-4 overall record and a 13-3 conference mark, and earned a bye in the first round. Colorado College won both matches against the Southwestern this season, winning in four sets at both Reid Arena on Sept. 24 and at Schreiner University a month later on Oct. 24.
The Tigers split a pair of matches with UST, winning in four sets on Oct. 2 in Houston before falling in five sets a week later at Austin College.
