For the third time this season, junior center
Zoë Tomlinson of the Colorado College women's basketball team has been named the SCAC Player of the Week, as announced on Jan. 2.
Tomlinson continues to be one of the most dominant and consistent players in the SCAC. The New York native led CC to another set of wins on the road to close out 2023 at St. Thomas and Centenary.
She averaged 19 rebounds and 18 points per game, including a season-high 20 boards against St. Thomas, just one shy of her career-high. She scored 23 points against Centenary, the third time this season she has had 20 points or more in a game.
For the week, Tomlinson connected on 48.4 percent of her shots and added 2.5 assists and 2.0 blocks per game to lift the Tigers to a 3-1 mark in SCAC play.
CC will return home on Friday, Jan. 5 to host Trinity.
