Colorado College student-athletes turned in another impressive performance in the classroom during the 2023-24 winter season and ranked first in the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference with 73 earning a spot on the league's Academic Honor Roll.

More than 85 percent of the Tigers who competed in the four winter sports sponsored by the SCAC were recognized for posting a minimum 3.25 grade-point average during the most recent semester.

The women's basketball team had all 15 players honored for a perfect 100 percent, while the men's swimming and diving team had the most recipients with 24.
"We are so proud of the academic achievements of our student-athletes and they directly reflect our goals of holistic excellence," Vice President and Director of Athletics Lesley Irvine said. "Congratulations to all of our CC Tigers – their commitment and hard work in the classroom is truly inspiring."

Women's basketball rising senior Zoe Tomlinson, a two-time All-American and Academic All-American selection this year, headlined CC's list of 29 honor roll recipients who also earned all-conference honors in their respective sports. Tomlinson also received the prestigious SCAC Elite 19 Award, which is presented to the junior or senior student-athlete with the highest GPA of at least 3.25 in the sport, has at least 60 credit hours at his or her current institution and earned all-conference honors.

Colorado College had 21 more recipients than Trinity University, which finished second with 52. Southwestern University was third with 41.
