The Colorado College volleyball team returns to action with a single SCAC match this Saturday, Oct. 18, at the University of St. Thomas in Houston, Texas, beginning at 1 p.m. CT.

Last Time Out
The Tigers (13-6 overall, 5-3 SCAC) split a pair of league matches at home last weekend and are tied for third place in the SCAC's Gold Division.

On Friday, Schreiner defeated CC in five sets.
Carolyn Dormady collected a season-high 23 kills and
Annie Joo had a career-high 59 assists, but it wasn't quite enough as the Mountaineers captured a 25-22, 16-25, 25-23, 17-25, 15-11 victory.

Camille Sherrill and
Brooke Brilliant added 19 and 12 kills, respectively, for the Tigers. Joo surpassed her previous career-high by 10 assists and had 17 digs and an ace.
Meghan Gannon led all players with 28 digs and produced a match-high three aces.

Brooke Brilliant each had a match-high 15 kills to lead the Colorado College volleyball team to a four-set victory over McMurry University Saturday at Reid Arena.

On Saturday, Dormady added 13 kills and Joo collected 40 assists as the Tigers completed a 25-12, 25-19, 19-25, 25-20, triumph over McMurry.

CC rolled through the first set, compiling a .458 hitting percentage with 12 kills and just one error.

The second set was much closer, with CC pulling away with seven straight points to take a 13-6 advantage and held that lead throughout the remainder of the set.

After McMurry won the third set, the fourth was back-and forth until CC broke away with a 6-1 run to make it 20-15, then help on. Sherrill had four kills in the final set and closed the match with an ace.

Joo Named SCAC Setter of the Week, Again
For the second time in three weeks and third time this season, Joo was named the SCAC Setter of the Week.

Joo had a standout week with 133 assists over three matches, including the career-high 59 against Schreiner in a five-set thriller. She averaged 11.08 assists per set with 33 digs as well.

In addition to her 59 assists against Schreiner, Joo had 40 against McMurry and totaled 34 in a three-set win over Wooster.

Scouting The Opposition
St. Thomas enters Saturday's match with a 17-2 overall record and a 7-1 mark in the SCAC, good for a tie for first place in the SCAC's Gold Division. CC defeated the Celts in three sets on Sept. 27 in Reid Arena.

CC stays on the road for three matches in Longview, Texas. The Tigers will face LeTourneau on Friday, Oct 24, at 7 p.m. CT, before battling Centenary and the University of the Ozarks on Saturday, Oct. 25.
