The Colorado College volleyball team returns to action this weekend with three SCAC matches in Longview, Texas. The Tigers (13-7 overall, 5-4 SCAC) will face LeTourneau on Friday, Oct 24, at 7 p.m. CT, before battling Centenary and the University of the Ozarks on Saturday, Oct. 25. CC enters the weekend in fourth place in the SCA's Gold Division.

Camille Sherrill had a team-high 19 kills and
Grace Berry added a career-high 11, but it wasn't quite enough as the Colorado College volleyball team fell to the University of St. Thomas in five sets Saturday in Houston, Texas.

Alexis Bodunrin led all players with 25 kills as UST improved to 18-2 overall and 8-1 in the SCAC. Meanwhile, the Tigers fell to 13-7 overall and 5-4 in league play.

St. Thomas took the first set, 25-18, but the Tigers stormed back to dominate the second, 25-15, then rallied from a 23-19 deficit in the third set to take a 24-23 lead behind a pair of kills from Berry and Sherrill, but the Celts eventually won the set, 28-26.

Colorado College regained the momentum and evened up the match by winning the fourth set, 25-21, then held a 7-4 lead in the final set before UST scored 11 of the final 13 points to win 15-9 and avenge a three-set loss to the Tigers in Colorado Springs on Sept. 27.

Berry led the Tigers with a .385 hitting percentage, committing just two errors during the match.
Carolyn Dormady added 10 kills while
Camden Goodman tied her career high with 49 assists and
Meghan Gannon had a team-high 22 digs.

Scouting The Opposition
LeTourneau enters Friday's match with a 14-8 overall record and a 6-4 mark in the SCAC, good for third place in the SCAC's Blue Division. Meanwhile, Centenary is 2-16 overall and 1-9 in the SCAC, while Ozarks is 4-12 and 2-8.
