Tigers to Face Salisbury in First Round of NCAA Tournament

The Colorado College volleyball team earned the SCAC's automatic bid to the NCAA Division III Women's Volleyball Championship and will face No. 24 Salisbury in a first-round match on Thursday, Nov. 20, at 11:30 a.m. (ET) in Cambridge, Mass., on the campus of MIT.

The Tigers are making their 31st overall appearance in the NCAA tournament. CC, which last appeared in the tournament in 2021, owns a 22-30 all-time NCAA tournament record.

Colorado College improved to 23-7 this season after defeating Schreiner University in five sets in the SCAC final on Saturday. The Tigers enter the NCAA Tournament with a 10-match winning streak, the longest since 2021.

Salisbury (28-6) earned an at-large bid after falling in the Coast-to-Coast Athletic Conference (C2C) final to Christopher Newport in three sets.

Thursday's winner faces either No. 8 Trinity Univ. (22-5) or Manhattanville Univ. (20-7) in the second round on Friday.

On the other side of the regional bracket, No. 12 MIT (27-3) faces Pacific Lutheran (16-9), while Williams College (22-6) takes on Franklin & Marshall (22-6).
