The Colorado College volleyball team earned the SCAC's automatic bid to the NCAA Division III Women's Volleyball Championship and will face No. 24 Salisbury in a first-round match on Thursday, Nov. 20, at 11:30 a.m. (ET) in Cambridge, Mass., on the campus of MIT.
The Tigers are making their 31st overall appearance in the NCAA tournament. CC, which last appeared in the tournament in 2021, owns a 22-30 all-time NCAA tournament record.
Colorado College improved to 23-7 this season after defeating Schreiner University in five sets in the SCAC final on Saturday. The Tigers enter the NCAA Tournament with a 10-match winning streak, the longest since 2021.
Salisbury (28-6) earned an at-large bid after falling in the Coast-to-Coast Athletic Conference (C2C) final to Christopher Newport in three sets. Â
Thursday's winner faces either No. 8 Trinity Univ. (22-5) or Manhattanville Univ. (20-7) in the second round on Friday.
On the other side of the regional bracket, No. 12 MIT (27-3) faces Pacific Lutheran (16-9), while Williams College (22-6) takes on Franklin & Marshall (22-6).
The regional championship will be played on Saturday, Nov. 22.
