Iler and Schnaufer Earn USA Lacrosse Preseason All-American Honors

Colorado College women's lacrosse standouts, junior attacker Charlotte Iler and senior goalkeeper Cassidy Schnaufer were both recognized with USA Lacrosse Preseason All-America honors, the organization announced this week, highlighting two of the Tigers' top returning performers ahead of the upcoming season.

Iler was named to the Third Team, while Schnaufer earned Honorable Mention distinction.

Iler, an explosive offensive presence, collected her second career IWLCA All-Region First Team selection after leading the Tigers with 61 goals and 86 points. Her 61 goals ranked as the third-most in a single season in program history, while her 86 points stood seventh all-time. In addition to her scoring production, Iler added 25 assists, four game-winning goals, 21 ground balls, seven caused turnovers and a draw control. She was also named WIAC Offensive Player of the Year and earned First Team All-WIAC honors.

Schnaufer, one of the nation's premier goalkeepers, is coming off a season in which she earned IWLCA All-Region First Team honors and was named the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Defensive Player of the Year. She finished the year 10th nationally with a 52.6 save percentage, ranked 14th with a 7.21 goals-against average, and placed 15th with 175 total saves. Schnaufer also set a program record with 18 wins between the pipes, anchoring one of the most successful defensive seasons in school history.

CC's season begins on March 1 at Washburn Field against Johnson & Whales.
