Head coach
Sean Woods saw exactly what he wanted during the Tigers' 21-10 victory over Cornell College on a picture-perfect day.
Â
CC's first and second teams got a chance to shake off their end-of-the-block blues and the reserves earned an opportunity to play some meaningful minutes for the first time this season. Most importantly, the Tigers were able to rest their starters during the second half as they look ahead to Friday's game against a formidable Wittenberg University squad.
Â
"It was a great team day," Woods said. "The guys have been busting their butts in practice every day of the week, giving up a lot of their time and not getting minutes on game day. We were able to reward those guys with some good minutes and they played hard."
Â
Eleven players scored at least one goal, while four others added an assist to help Colorado College amass a season-high 21 goals.
