Colorado College junior Will Shuflit has been selected the SCAC Men's Cross Country Runner of the Week for the second consecutive week and third time this season.
 
Shuflit, from Park City, Utah, outpaced 422 Division III runners with a school-record time to win the 'White' 8K race and lead the Colorado College men's cross country team to an 11th-place finish at the 51st annual Paul Short Run Friday morning in Bethlehem, Pa.
 
He completed the 8K course in a school-record time of 24:04.9 seconds, more than 13 seconds faster than runner-up Nathan Tassey of Roger Williams and 11 seconds clear of his own previous school record.
 
The Tigers return to action this Friday, Oct. 10, at the UCCS Open at Monument Valley Park, beginning at 9 a.m.
