The Colorado College cross country teams return to action this Friday, Oct. 10, at the UCCS Open in Monument Valley Park. The men's team will run at 9 am MT, followed by the women at 9:45 am.

Will Shuflit outpaced 422 Division III runners with a school-record time to win the top Division III race and lead the CC men's team to an 11
th-place finish at the 51
st annual Paul Short Run Friday morning in Bethlehem, Pa.
Shuflit completed the 8K course in a school-record time of 24:04.9 seconds, more than 13 seconds faster than runner-up Nathan Tassey of Roger Williams and 11 seconds clear of his own previous school record.
The Tigers, ranked 26
th in the country, joined 10 other Division III teams ranked in the top 30 on Friday as 45 total teams competed in the top Division III tier at the meet.

Vincent Mangat was CC's second finisher in 51
st place with a time of 25:19.3, followed by seniors
Rabbit Barnes in 92

th individually out of 418 Division III runners with a personal-best time of 21:23.5, followed by junior

Abby Goodfried was 75
th with a time of 22:32.3.60, while seniors

National / Regional Rankings
The women's team is No. 22 this week's USTFCCCA Division III National Rankings, while the men are ranked No. 29.
Shuflit, Mueller-Hickler Earned SCAC Weekly Honors, Again
Shuflit and Mueller-Hickler were named the SCAC Men's and Women's Runners of the Week, respectively, for the second straight week and third time this season.
